The Kiwanis Club of Okemos was chartered in 1953 by Kiwanis International, a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. The Club is a vibrant and enthusiastic group of men and women especially committed to helping children and improving our community and the world. Our many projects are dedicated to the welfare of children and improving the quality of life in our community. We stay busy. We have fun. We invite you to join us.

Important Change!

The Kiwanis Club of Okemos is in the process of merging with the Haslett Kiwanis Club to form the Haslett-Okemos Kiwanis Club.

This site will soon be updated to reflect these changes.

You may still contact us using the Contact Us page.

The combined club will provide enhanced service to both Haslett and Okemos communities.  It will be a good time to consider membership in a combined club with an even more vibrant membership and expanded menu of community projects.  Stay tuned.

Meetings are held every Tuesday, 6:00 p.m., in the Social Hall of the Okemos Community Church located at 4734 N. Okemos Road, Okemos, MI 48864. The social hall is on the lower level and can be accessed through the north (side) entrance.

One act of kindness can change the course of a life. Proving that ONE can make a difference, Kiwanians have helped eradicate diseases, build schools, shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, and generate millions of smiles.
